Colorado Public Lands Day Outing: Fryingpan River (Basalt SWA)

  • Basalt State Wildlife Area 2561 Frying Pan Rd Basalt, CO, 81621 United States (map)

We will be celebrating the 2nd annual Colorado Public Lands Day by fishing the Fryingpan River on the Basalt State Wildlife Area land. We'll plan to meet up at 9 at the Basalt SWA sign near Mile Marker 1.5 and have coffee and donuts. Look for the FHTU table and banner and join us for some spring fishing on the Pan.

This outing is free and open to the general public regardless if you are a TU member or not (registration also not required). Kids are welcome too!

Lastly, we will be giving away a dozen of our favorite flies to the person that takes the best photo of themselves or others enjoying public lands during the outing. Hope to see you there!
